Transport

An excellent range of convenient, public transport means that getting to Shelford is easier than you might think.

'Met' buses run from Glen Waverley, Mt Waverley and Chadstone areas, and travel along Glen Eira Road stopping at Hood Crescent.

Railway transport on the Frankston-Caulfield, Dandenong-Caulfield and Melbourne-Sandringham lines connect with school buses and give convenient and quick access to Shelford.

Ripponlea station is the closest station for Shelford students.

Trams along Glenhuntly, Balaclava, Dandenong and Glenferrie Roads provide excellent service and also connect with School buses.

Serial 1 Wheelers Hill/Mount Waverly via Malvern
Serial 2 Wheelers Hill via Oakleigh
Serial 3 Bentleigh/McKinnon/Ormond
Serial 5 Black Rock/Brighton/Elwood
Serial 6 South Melbourne/Middle Park

Please note that due to increases in the costs of hiring the buses, Casual Bus Tickets have now been increased to $5 per trip. These tickets are still available for purchase from the General Office and should be used by those families wishing to take the bus on a casual basis or as a one off trip.
