Year 10

Year 10 Handbook (pdf)

The Year 10 Program meets the Vision, Mission and Values of Shelford, and the social, emotional and developmental stages of emerging adults.

The Program provides a differentiated curriculum. It provides opportunities to meet individual needs, encourages students to become independent learners and assists students to develop a global perspective.

The Year 10 Curriculum supports the existing upward coupling and seamless curriculum of Shelford. It meets the requirements of VELS, VCE, and VET while at the same time providing rich and exciting flexibility.

The Curriculum builds upon the present Year 9 Challenge Program. Year 10 students participate in Assemblies, Chapel, GSV and the full Performing Arts Program. Opportunities for students to be involved in Community Service programs at a national, state and local level will be increased.
