Shelford Girls’ Grammar is a model for excellence in girls’ education. 

Our Principal, Polly Flanagan has provided outstanding educational leadership for Shelford over the last nine years and has decided to retire at the end of 2019.  

The Board now seeks to appoint an experienced and innovative educator with a strong commitment and vision for the future of girls’ education.

Established in 1898, Shelford Girls’ Grammar is an Anglican school with a very proud history. For many years Shelford girls have achieved exceptional academic results with 100% of girls gaining a first round tertiary offer. The school is in a sound financial position, which enables us to fully focus on building and shaping the educational future of the girls in our care.
