The Information Resource Centre (IRC) is a multi-functional, focal point for student learning. It is central to implementing, enriching and supporting the teaching and learning programs of the School. In this welcoming, user-centred environment, students and staff have access to a vibrant print and electronic resource collection. Skilled, committed and caring staff answer reference questions, help teachers plan units of work, find resources and integrate ICT into their teaching. The service empowers students to become independent learners throughout their lives, encouraging them to be effective users of ideas and information.
The IRC consists of the School Library, with more than 20,000 books, journals, online resources, reading and class workspace areas, Multimedia Services and the IT Department.
