Zena Helman, Chair of the Shelford Board of Governors, has announced that Ms Katrina Brennan has been appointed as the 11th Principal of Shelford Girls’ Grammar. She will take up this position at the start of 2020.
At Shelford we firmly believe that girls' schools are best suited to the needs of girls and there is a growing body of national and international research that supports our belief in single-sex education for girls.
“What makes Shelford so special is that every single girl is given the chance to get involved, whether it be School sports, House events or musicals.” Ruby (Student)
“At Shelford I learned to dream big and work hard to achieve my goals. I was taught to be inquisitive and seek out answers. I think that is a large part of why I have such an interest in science and research.” Zoe (Shelfordian)
“I am mindful of the debt of gratitude I owe to the excellent education... Values of service, fairness, discipline and excellence informed my school years.” Diane (Shelfordian)
"Shelford is the best school I've ever had any dealings with. Every member of staff is friendly, kind and helpful. They are all passionate about learning... " Dayle (Parent)
