Generations of students have enjoyed the benefits of a Shelford education, thanks to the support of current and previous members of the School community.

Fundraising and the generosity of donors ensures that the School remains at the forefront of education. Every gift is important, no matter what size. Should you wish to make a monetary donation, please click on the donate button at the bottom of this page.

There are many ways to support Shelford.

The Building Fund

All donations to the Building Fund contribute directly to the enhancement of the School buildings and facilities and are tax deductible. 


A Bequest provides a way to make a significant contribution to the School, without impacting your current circumstances. Please get in contact with the Community Engagement office for more details on 9524 7333.

General gift

These donations enable the School to direct the funds to an area of its choosing.

The Quærite Dinner

Held annually, the Quærite Dinner is the major fundraising event on the School calendar. Members of the community provide support in a variety of ways – by attending the dinner or making a monetary donation; bidding at the auctions; donating goods and services for the auctions; approaching businesses for donations; sponsoring the event; assisting with various aspects of the event.

Shelford Parents' Association

The Shelford Parents' Association (SPA) consists of an executive and general committee members. Parents are encouraged to support the committee with the organisation of a variety of events and initiatives. For further details please see the SPA page.

Class Representatives

Class Representatives play a vital role in the life of the School. By acting as a crucial link between parents, the SPA committee and the School, Class Representatives help to create a strong sense of community, which is one of Shelford's core values.
