Shelford's Annual Appeal 2023

We are proud to launch our philanthropic appeal to ensure that 125 years of tradition and excellence at Shelford Girls’ Grammar lives on. Shelford’s Annual Appeal 2023 can be accessed here: giving.shelford.vic.edu.au 

We are an outstanding school, with continuing excellence in academic results, shaping women who lead successful and fulfilling lives, contributing positively to their communities.  All of this is not possible without the generosity of our broader community. 

Please consider donating to one or more of our three focus areas: Library Fund, Scholarship Fund, or Junior School Playground and Outdoor Wellbeing Spaces (Building Fund). 

As in most independent schools, our fee and government income are largely allocated to the operational and running costs of the school. The purpose of this event, is to encourage parents and other community members, to donate money to support the school's initiatives beyond this. As a community, this is an opportunity for all community members to raise funds to support our programs and projects. The donation can be made online or in person, and it can be of any size.  

The funds raised during the appeal will improve facilities, purchase equipment, and provide additional resources for students. It will also allow talented students an opportunity to access a Shelford education, through our Scholarship Fund. 

I have already donated and I know many past and current staff, Board members, parents and students, will take this opportunity to give back to the school.  We thank you for your contributions, large and small, as we plan for the exciting future of Shelford.
